THE BOARD
The Company's Board is made up of reputable personalities as stated hereunder:

ALHAJI A. M. MOHAMMED, OFR, FCA, FCCA.
Alhaji Aliko M. MOHAMMED is the Chairman, Board of Directors. A reputable accountant, he is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), and The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, (FCCA) United Kingdom. He has served and still serves on the board of several public and private companies in various capacities. He is an Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR) and also the "Dan Iyan Missau" an uncommon Chieftaincy title conferred on him by his people in Bauchi State. He is a past Chairman of the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) and Nigeria Insurers Association (NIA).

K. E. ODOGWU BA, LLB MBA.
Mr. Kenneth Ezenwani ODOGWU is a Legal Practitioner and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in 1984 from Stem Business School, New York University, United States of America. He is also a capital market operator. He is the Chief Executive of the Odogwu Group of Companies and principal partner in Flora Shaw Chambers.

DANIEL MAGERLE (Attorney-at-law, Zurich Switzerland)
	Mr. Daniel MAGERLE joined the Board of The Lion of Africa Insurance Company Limited in November 2004. He is an attorney at law and an associate of Streiff Pellegrini & Von Kaenel in Switzerland. He obtained his law degree from the University of Zurich and the University College, Cork, Ireland. Mr.Magerle was a Staff Attorney in the Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant Accounts in Switzerland, Zurich between 2000 and 2001. He has acquired a wide range of legal experience in labour and employment law, contract/liability law, insolvency and debt enforcement law, among others. Daniel Magerle speaks English, Spanish and French, besides German which is his native language. A well travelled international businessman, Daniel Magerle is also a keen sportsman.

B. O. OGUNDIPE, LLB, F.C.I. Arb.
Mr. Babajide Oladipo OGUNDIPE obtained his LLB from University of London in 1978 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1979. He has been in Legal Practice since 1979 and is an active member of several International Legal Associations, including the London Court of International Arbitration. He is currently, Chairman of the Training Sub-Committee, Nigerian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a senior partner in the Law firm of Sofunde Osakwe Ogundipe & Belgore.

ALHAJI M. B. YOLA, BA.
Alhaji Mukhtar Bello YOLA graduated from the University of Dakar, Senegal in 1965, where he studied French History and Administration. He also took a private course in International Relations. He was groomed in the public service and served extensively in foreign missions in Africa, Central America and France. He is also on the Board of other major private companies in Nigeria.
